COMEDY COMPETITION
The KnockOut Comedy Stop show consist of three different competitions.
Back Water Talent Search This competition is a stand alone TV show that involves open auditions for the KnockOut Comedy Stop, "Comedy that's gotta hurt", Heavy Weight Championship of comedy TV show. GMEN Productions video tapes these auditions at sponsored events held at night clubs, dive-bars and hole-in-the-walls in suburban, rural, urban and back water locations around the country. Comedians perform their own materials and are rated by the audience, the show's producers and its creator Glen Reaux. The best comedians are rewarded with an opportunity to become a contestant on the main show, the KnockOut Comedy Stop. The KnockOut Comedy Stop, "Comedy that's gotta hurt! Hosted by veteran funny man All. D. Freeman, this show is for the Heavy Weight Championship of Comedy. Each episode features eight of the best comedians in the country. Through seven rounds of competition, comedians are presented with improvisational situations that they are judged on. The Judges consist of a comedian, a resident judge and three celebrity judges that are selected from the audience. A gladiator voting system is used. Thumbs up you win. Thumbs down and you get a beat down or butt whippin when either the Wrecking Crew or Terminator Squad open-up a can of whup ass and kick the losers off the stage. Rounds 1-4 are preliminary rounds. The 4 winners of these rounds move on to the semi-finals. The 2 winners move on the the finals. The winner of the finals becomes a Heavy Weight Contender and is allowed to do a stand-up routine of his or her own material. This finalist advances and will compete for the title of "Heavy Weight Champion of Comedy." |
The fitness competition is a contest where Ring Girls and Body Builders are judged. Winners are determined by the live audience and voting via FaceBook and Twitter. The winning Ring Girl and Boy Builders, like the comedians move on the the next round of competition. The top 12 women and men will be featured on KnockOut Comedy Stop calendars, t-shirts and posters.
